We're featuring the extraordinary Nantucket wedding of Yuki Asaka and Ken Okamoto-Kaminski in three parts. Why? Because quite simply, it was exquisite, and it's not everyday a couple flies half way around the world to tie the knot in our neck of the woods.

Yuki Asaka and Ken Okamoto-Kaminski, both from Japan, have traveled the globe, seeing some of the world's most exotic places. While attending Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Yuki traveled to Nantucket for the first time, and discovered what would become her "most favorite memorable place" throughout her time in college. Years later, she met Ken who swept her off to Bali for a seven-day escape that ended with a romantic unforgettable proposal.

Having the opportunity to marry anywhere in the world, Yuki and Ken chose Nantucket to tie the knot. "It was my longing to have a wedding ceremony in Nantucket since I visited there once," says Yuki. "Ken really wanted to make it happen as he loves me so much." The two planned a private, marital adventure for just the two of them. "Ken wanted to give me the happiest moment, and I wanted to show myself in wedding attire only for Ken."

More on Yuki's fabulous attire to come...stay tuned...
