Are you a DIY Bride?

If you're crafty, organized, and a pro with time management, a do-it yourself wedding could be the perfect opportunity to create your dream wedding with your own two hands. But if you're not naturally inclined to spend hours driving around town searching for the perfect shade of pink ribbon, hiring professionals to create your dream wedding for you might be your best bet.

"Being a DIY bride is not for everyone," says recent newlywed Jamie Provencal. "But if you enjoy doing things for yourself and seeing your vision come to life it can be extremely rewarding--not to mention a little more wallet friendly."

Don't wait until the last minute to start in on your projects. The good people at Details Weddings & Events suggest starting months in advance of the big day to give yourself plenty of time for a stress-free execution.
