A chance meeting in a NYC bar forever changed the lives of Rhonda Rendulich and Mark Silva. Rhonda and a friend were in NYC on a getaway weekend and Mark was out with his friends celebrating the end of his first year of law school. Coincidence or fate?

Rhonda hails from Minnesota and Mark from Staten Island. They didn't want to play geographic favorites to either family, and decided on a destination wedding in their new hometown choice. The couple searched for the perfect reception spot from the South End to South Boston. One look at the oh-so romantic Imperial Ballroom at the Park Plaza sealed the deal. The quick thinking couple hired event planner Pink Orchid Weddings to help plan their perfect day down to the last detail.
