Not only was our couple's wedding song super sweet, but there were more lovingly cultural features incorporated into this stunning wedding!
Being a first generation American, I totally understand the importance of integrating your culture whenever possible and it's evident that our bride and groom agree. Not only were their favors (engraved condiment spoons they got on a trip to Brazil) special, but their ceremony was incredibly loving. Monica told us that their service was made of these parts- "our different faiths, cultures, languages (we used some Portuguese in the ceremony) and the importance of bringing families together as one." Does it get any more sentimental? Actually, it does...
Monica's mother passed away before her daughter's wedding. So as anyone one can imagine, the difficulty of planning your wedding without your mom is nothing short of painful. But what made the planning process and wedding day less difficult, was the fact that Andrey's parents, who live in Brazil and were in Boston for the wedding, together with other family members and friends, were so very present throughout all of their day's preparations! And that has to be the most touching details I learned about Monica and Andrey's wedding!
All wedding are undoubtedly special, but there's something to be said of one that have those sincerely, sentimental aspects that make it truly one of a kind. And this wedding was, without a doubt exceptional!

My fiance is also Brazilian and we have learned though the planning process that embracing both cultures, languages, families in the wedding celebration is just as important as the I DO!! Congratulations! This is an amazing wedding!
