Brides spend hours choosing the right flowers for their bouquets. They spend fistfuls of money to make sure their bridesmaids also carry colorful blooms. The bride and groom should also make sure they spend time picking out the perfect boutonniere for the men in the wedding party.
Remember when your mom picked up that red rose and baby's breath boutonniere for your prom date? Remember how weird it looked? The boutonniere has evolved by leaps and bounds since then and florists have adopted creative ways to give the groom and his groomsmen a little pizzazz.
Choose your boutonniere to match the season. Keeping your choices in season will help keep the cost down while not sacrificing creativity. And who says they need to be flowers? Bend the rules and use fall leaves, seashells, tiny acorns, or pine cones. Crafty? Make them yourself and get exactly what you want for less.
